About House Peace

Simplifying and beautifying your home sounds wonderful, but often we face the clutter and disarray with feelings of overwhelming fear, fatigue, and even shame. HOUSE PEACE takes a holistic approach to your life: your family, your schedules, your finances, and your particular needs and desires. This isn't just organizing; HOUSE PEACE helps you utilize your home base to work for you, not against you. Creating flow systems, developing habits, and giving you the tools you need to facilitate order, HOUSE PEACE brings more than just order to a kitchen junk drawer.

Our Team

Our organizers empower you to give your home and family a less stressful lifestyle, so you can stop worrying about your home and focus on the things that matter. All members of our team are dedicated to bringing peace to your space!

The HOUSE PEACE team is made up of 8 organizers in 4 different cities: Birmingham, Mobile, Atlanta, and New York City.

Tara Bremer

Tara is the founder, owner, and CEO of House Peace and has been bringing peace into homes since 2013. She holds a BA in Psychology from Purdue University, and a Master's in Counseling from Moravian Theological Seminary. She brings this knowledge of the human condition, behavioral psychology, and habit formation to every home she visits, all with a judgement-free mentality. Tara puts her experience to the test every day with her own family, as a wife and mother of three. You can follow Tara and her family’s story of reclaiming a hoarder’s land into a wooded retreat here!

There is no job too large or overwhelming to her! She is also a certified personal trainer on the side and enjoys a lifestyle of healthy eating and fitness! Most important, she loves spending time with her family. Follow Penny on Instagram!

Kristin Solomon

has been practicing Kon Mari in her own home since 2015, so it was a natural fit for her to become a House Peace Partner in November 2018! Her organizational specialty is kids’ toys, and has a particular affinity for boys’ toys and activities since she is the mom to four boys. Follow Kristin on Instagram!

Amy Overby

Amy uses her type A personality to create spaces that work more efficiently and bring order to chaos. There is no job too small, but her favorites include kitchens and closets. Her greatest joy is providing a clutter-free, functional home where families feel peace. When she’s not bringing peace to other homes, Amy enjoys exercising, baking, and spending time with her children and husband.

Karla McDavid

Karla believes organizing is in her DNA. Since she was a child, she has found joy not only in everything having a place but in those things being cohesive and fitting together in a satisfying way.

She is mom to four children ages 14-3 so she appreciates and implements organizing spaces, things, schedules, and tasks.

As rewarding as it is for herself, she also loves serving others so House Peace is a blessing that combines the two. Follow Karla on Instagram!
