When Keeping the Car Clean Feels like an Exercise in Futility

Having a clean car is super important to me, mostly because it’s a 2012 with some wear on it. I don’t plan to replace it soon, so I want it to look as good as it can!

During October, we talked all about car organization and cleaning over on our Instagram account. Below, I’ve compiled a synopsis of what we talked about all month! You can also find some Stories saved under the “Car” highlight where I dive in deeper about the “whys!”

Ashley and I went Live with some of our Instagram followers during our monthly Rapid Fire Organizing session. The video is about 30 minutes long and there is something for everyone in it!

Later in the month, I went live to talk about the “Top Five Things in a House Peaced Car,” based on this post (check the post out for good stuff in the comments and be sure to swipe for five bonus items!)

In one of our most popular posts ever, we talk in depth about the need for a car trash can! Again, check out the comments for lots of good stuff!

Our final video for the month was with my friend Mikel at M-1 Auto Detailing. He has extensive experience in car cleaning and has seen it all. Check out M-1’s Instagram for some very satisfying before and after photos!

Be sure to look at our Amazon Affiliate Store under “Car Organization” for links to items we mentioned in the videos. (Hint: those plastic crates are awesome for in-car trash cans and you can use one of the linked large rubber bands to secure the trash can in place so it won’t bounce around the car!)

During the month of November, we are talking about Toy Organization! We will be Live for our monthly Rapid Fire Organizing this week on November 18, 2020, at 11:00 central time! Hope you can join us.
