What's in my Tiny House

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen that my family has renovated a tiny house on some land near our home that we have dubbed Camp Cuesta. It’s a little getaway close to home for us, as well as a place for us to host friends and family. Recently we had our friends the Dixons from New York spend their spring break at our tiny house. We’ve been really happy with the fun this house and land has provided for us since we completed the renovation, and I’m excited to share with you all about the items we chose to put inside (and outside).

With such limited amount of space (200 sq ft), we had to be really mindful with what we purchased for the house. The items had to be super functional, compact, and of course, attractive!

The Exterior

We want our tiny house and the land it sits on to be safe and inviting, so we installed outdoor lighting and a lock box for the security of our guests, and the outdoor storage box keeps our items safe from the elements.

  1. Solar Fence Lights

  2. Wall Mount Lock Box

  3. Outdoor Storage Box

The Kitchen

Since the main room of the tiny house serves the function of 3 spaces, we chose pieces that could collapse to store and be multifunctional.

  1. Dining Table

  2. Twin Mattress

  3. Folding Chairs

  4. Magic Rug and Rug Pad

  5. Daybed

  6. Wall Sconces

The Bathroom

Attractive and functional storage are key in a tiny bathroom, and these items help me get the necessities in without compromising style or adding clutter.

  1. Under Sink Organizer

  2. Floating Shelves

We’ve also listed our tiny house on Airbnb, and we’d love to host you for your own little getaway. You can book a stay at Camp Cuesta here.
